When should you upgrade?

Plan changes are triggered by what your agent actually needs — not by a seat count.

Free → Starter
You're building a real agent workflow.

You need payload transforms, scheduled agents, custom retry, custom headers, or bulk replay to keep the workflow reliable as it leaves prototype.

Starter → Pro
Your agent is going to production.

You need typed outbound to SQS, EventBridge, Pub/Sub, or object storage. Or strict ordering, per-webhook throttling, alerts, and issues — the controls a real production event path demands.

Pro → Business
Your team needs operational maturity.

You need the audit log API, more event drains, and larger file storage. Typically when security review enters the picture or when observability crosses multiple sinks.

Business → Enterprise
You're running governed high-volume workloads.

You need custom quotas, per-webhook overrides, unlimited drains, dedicated support, and a partner you can name in procurement.

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you click sign up.
What is Hooksbase?
Hooksbase is event infrastructure for AI agents. It ingests events from HTTP, email, forms, and schedules, routes them with programmable rules and optional payload transforms, and delivers them to your agent or downstream systems with retries, replay, DLQ, and observability.
Do I have to use an AI agent to use Hooksbase?
No. Hooksbase works for any team that needs reliable webhook delivery — agent-backed or not. We lead with the agent framing because agents need event infrastructure the most, but everything on the platform is general-purpose webhook/event tooling underneath.
How is Hooksbase different from Svix or Hookdeck?
Svix and Hookdeck are webhook-delivery products positioned at classical SaaS delivery. Hooksbase is the same kind of infrastructure, but positioned for AI agents and agentic automations, with first-class multi-channel ingest (email, forms, scheduled cron), typed outbound destinations (SQS, EventBridge, Pub/Sub, S3), built-in file relay, and deterministic replay. See /compare/svix and /compare/hookdeck for a capability-by-capability breakdown.
What ingest channels do you support?
Four first-class channels that all flow through one delivery pipeline: HTTP (with per-webhook ingest secrets), email (each webhook gets a stable hook_xxx@ingest.hooksbase.com address), HTML forms (POST endpoints plus an embeddable form), and scheduled cron triggers (1-minute minimum granularity).
What happens if I downgrade my plan?
Premium configuration stays visible but is runtime-blocked until you clear it or upgrade again. Scheduled webhooks below Starter skip firing. Queued bulk jobs fail with entitlement errors. No silent data loss, no surprise billing — just a clear 403 on premium paths.
How do you handle signature rotation?
Outbound signing uses Standard Webhooks-compatible headers. Secret rotation has a configurable overlap window where both the old and new secret sign every delivery — so consumers can migrate without downtime.
Can I self-host Hooksbase?
Not today. Hooksbase is a hosted service. Self-hosting isn't on the v1 roadmap, but if it's a hard requirement, get in touch and we can talk.
What's your uptime posture?
Hooksbase ingests at the edge with no cold starts in the delivery path, and ingest admission is fail-closed — if quota or storage state is uncertain, we reject before accepting. We don't publish a contractual SLA at the Free, Starter, Pro, or Business tiers. Enterprise customers can negotiate one.
